Woot. They are awesome on PvE. great raid utility and pretty powerful. in PvP i have not played him since the patch other then a bit of world pvp. but i did pretty well. yay for Boomkins!

It's really tough to be play something as limited as a balance druid. Your options for cc/immobilizing are somewhat slim so you would need to have a partner like a resto/balance druid. You should have enough burst/armor to do great dmg. If you partner with another dps class it should probably be a rogue for the stunning capability or a ret pally for the stunning/healing abilities. Also you should make sure you know how to kite and heal. For BG's moonkins still rock. As far as PvE goes, I think moonkins are awesome. Always have been and always will be. But so are druids. Shamans have great crit damage imo.But if you want a challange than go with the druid, I have yet to see an amazing balance druid, plus you don't see many of em around.....ever.
